 Two decades ago a company started trading activities of drilling and excavation machines under the name of "NAKODA TRADING CO." Having a broad and extensive knowledge in the drilling industries the promoters of Nakoda have evolved as a successful company with respect to its sales of products such as jack hammers, breakers etc. In April 2004, this small trading concern became a Pvt. Ltd. company and was called "Nakoda Machinery Pvt. Ltd."
Nakoda became the first SSI Company to start the manufacturing of Crawller drills & distribution of complete range of breakers, spares and accessories under the brand name of "INDUS". Indus is a registered trademark of Nakoda Machinery Pvt. Ltd.
We are an ISO 9001-2000 certified company, a dedicated engineering group with global business activities. We have a state-of art manufacturing facility at Ahmednagar (Mah.) with 2 lacs sq.ft. plot area and 30,000 sq. ft. shed area. Having an efficient and strong staff of 115 people, together we’ve grossed revenues of 30 crores. We have been rated as the fastest growing SME by CRISIL as SE-1A with 600 installations and assets all over India. We primarily operate in 3 business areas, i.e. Equipments, Solutions & Rentals.
Manufacturing Setup
The first manufacturing setup was started at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra in 2004. Due to Pune, Mumbai, Nasik being a very good Industrial belt, Nakoda has gained lot of quality vendors in a short span. Indus is already planning to start a new plant in Himachal Pradesh to expand its production capacity.
